When Twitter Actually Works.... It's Pretty Cool.

Lately I've been having a love/hate relationship with the popular social networking site Twitter. Mainly because of all the foolishness that people post there after their raging internet courage kicks in. However, last night I was reminded why Twitter is so dope.

What started as a simple conversation between myself and John Gotty (creator of The Smoking Section) about Jon B, turned into a really great, nearly 3 hour conversation about music. Specifically which artists who have sophomore albums that are better than their critically acclaimed debuts.

Now that may seem boring to you, but the quality and expertise of the people involved in the conversation is what made it so cool. Writers, bloggers, DJs, major record label reps and even Just Blaze chimed in with their opinions.
